The President (Government Role)
By: Keely

The president writes the laws. They turn bills into laws. Our president’s name is Barack Obama. The president runs a lot of things like the military. Or the president runs the people who go to space. If we didn’t have a president there would be a better chance of the whole United States to have a lot of people not following the laws. The president chooses judges and other government officials. If we didn’t have any judges then all of the bad people wouldn’t learn their lesson from the judges, or they could escape from jail. The president impacts me because they make laws and keep us safe.
